Wild Deadwood Reads is an annual event held at The Lodge at Deadwood Gaming Resort in Historic Deadwood. Our multi-author, multi-genre Book Fair is just one of the exciting events happening, along with a basket raffle to support a local nonprofit organization, numerous giveaways and prizes, and much more. In attendance will be more than 100 authors from all over the country, including bestselling and award-winning authors of every genre—romance, historical, Christian, children’s, mystery, thrillers, Western, non-fiction and more. You will be able to find something for everyone in the family to enjoy. Admittance is free, so bring the whole family and find your new favorite books and authors.
Bring the entire family to Wylie Park in Aberdeen on the 4th of July for a fun-filled day. Take part in the many activities at the park throughout the day including mini-golf, go-karts, bumper boats, paddleboats, canoes, a Storybook Land Theatre performance (7 p.m.), Aberdeen Municipal Band concert (8:30 p.m.) and the fireworks display at dusk. Admission is free. (Fees will be incurred to ride the Storybook Land attractions.)
Celebrate Independence Day with the City of Yankton. Join us for multiple events that span the entire day. Enjoy a variety of family-friendly and free activities taking place in Riverside Park. The evening will consist of two concert events, food vendors, Ben's Brewing, and the region's largest fireworks show, displayed on off the upper deck of the Meridian Bridge starting at dusk (approximately 10 p.m.). Head to historic downtown Yankton for the annual Rock-n-Rumble Motorcycle Rally. Highlights of this fun event include the motorcycle parade, food vendors, and live music. Events and activities run all day Saturday. 2025 marks the 10th anniversary of the event.
The Rushmore View RV Park and Campground is located adjacent to the Magnuson Grand Rushmore View hotel in Keystone. A view of Mount Rushmore is available from the main parking lot and check-in area.
