The HARCC is a multi-faceted facility that features the finest collection of Black Hills historical documents in the world. It serves as a hub for educational and entertainment activities where classes, workshops, conferences, meetings and other gatherings are held. It is designed to be a place for research, fellowship, inspiration and lifelong learning. Hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Its sister museums are the Adams Museum, the Historic Adams House and the Days of '76 Museum.
The Homestead Coffee Co. is a family-owned and -operated coffee shop in the community of Salem, three miles north of Interstate 90. We serve locally-roasted, organic coffee; fresh, homemade baked goods; and a variety of lunch specials, include our delicious gourmet grilled cheese. We are open for breakfast and lunch, 7 a.m.-2 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
HomeTowne Inn in Elk Point is locally owned. It is located on Interstate 29 at Exit 18 in southeastern South Dakota just north of Sioux City. Amenities include free wireless Internet, cable TV and HBO, hairdryers, coffee makers, refrigerators, queen or full extra-long beds, and a home-style restaurant located right next door. Pets are welcome.

Horatio's Homemade Ice Cream in Custer is a locally-owned homemade,
small batch ice cream shop. We are located in the 1881 First National Bank of
Dakota Territory building and serve fresh waffle cones, sundaes, floats, ice
cream sandwiches and coffee. Ice cream flavors change regularly. We are open seasonally, mid- March through October, and have pop-up dates throughout the winter. You

The exterior walls of businesses and buildings in the historic district of Hot Springs became the canvases for artists to create pictorial representations of Fall River County history. To-date, seven different local and regional artists have completed murals, with more planed by the Hot Springs Cultural Development Organization.
The historic 1929 Hot Springs Theatre is home to first-run movies and special events. First-run movies are shown at 7 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings and at 2 p.m. Sunday afternoons.
