Levitt at the Falls 2025: Empire Strikes Brass

Empire Strikes Brass is a dynamic brass band hailing from Asheville, North Carolina. Formed in 2012, the band started from a love of New Orleans-inspired funk tunes infused with elements of rock and jam. Their funky music delivers a powerful message through a captivating and larger-than-life sound. On Saturday, August 30, Empire Strikes Brass features their rich horn arrangements and thumping rhythm section on the Levitt stage in Sioux Falls. This free concert is one of 50 being held at the state-of-the-art Levitt Shell in Falls Park West. During 2025, the free concerts run May 23 through August 30, usually on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Levitt at the Falls has open, raked-lawn seating (on a first-come, first-served basis). Blankets and lawn chairs are welcome. The lawn opens at 6:30 p.m. (food trucks/drink vendors also open) and music starts at 7 p.m.
