Nedved Guide Service is a family-owned and -operated business, offering premium pheasant hunts in central South Dakota for more than 30 years. We have access to more than 2,000 acres of quality habitat, established and maintained specifically to promote a natural pheasant hatch with an outstanding wild bird retention rate. Our visitors have the opportunity to shoot an abundance of birds while hunting such areas as tree belts, CRP, natural native grasses, and various crop land including fields of corn and sorghum. We offer two lodging options, the Old 16 Lodge and The Bunkhouse. We will accommodate any size group from 2-20 hunters. We will never combine your hunting group with another party without your permission.
The Nemo Guest Ranch is a quiet, rustic, Western resort nestled in the pine trees along a trout stream in the northern Black Hills. We offer rustic houses and cabins, an RV Park, tent camping sites, a horse camp, guided trail rides, and ATV rentals. There are more than 700 miles of trails right from your door step, including the Centennial Trail. Plus, there is a well-stocked trout stream that runs through the property. The on-site General Store and Brandin' Iron Restaurant & Bar are ready to meet all your vacation needs.
Imagine escaping to a real log cabin that is quiet and secluded, but only one-half mile from Hill City's Main Street. We are close to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse and many other Black Hills attractions. Before a day of sightseeing, linger over a cup of coffee in the morning as whitetail deer graze in the meadow. After a day of touring, curl up by a fireplace reading a book or enjoy a glass of wine on the deck. Newton Fork Ranch offers eight, fully-furnished cabins that are available year-round.
Newton Hills hosts many activities during the summer season. Each program is geared for families with young children and will expose participants to the natural and cultural features of the park. More than 200 species of birds visit the area each year. White-tailed deer, wild turkeys, marmots, rabbits, red and gray fox and squirrels are also found within the park. There are 128 campsites, eight cabins and 10 horse camp sites.
The NFAA Easton Yankton Archery Center in Yankton is the largest archery center in the world. Every archery format and range is available for archers of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to professionals. Situated on nearly 100 acres, the center includes three outdoor field ranges, a 3-D range with a 40-foot elevated platform, two FITA ranges, a 90-meter indoor range, two classrooms, a fitness studio, indoor tennis courts, and indoor air rifle. We are open to the public year-round.
In Brookings, on Hobo Day 1929, Harold and Gladys Nikalson fired up a little grill and started turning out burgers for just 5 cents. Although the price has changed over the years, little else has. Our burgers are still made to order with fresh - never frozen - beef, on homemade buns made with our secret recipe. Enjoy homemade pie and old fashioned milk shakes with your burgers. We also offer catering service with our mobile trailer, great for gatherings of any kind. We are open Monday-Saturday.
Nonna's Kitchen in Spearfish is locally owned and operated, and serves authentic, homestyle Italian cuisine. Nancy, the owner, loves to prepare her family recipes and share that food with anyone who comes to her table. This is what Nonna's Kitchen is really about - when you dine with us, you're dining with family and friends. We are open for lunch and supper, Monday through Sunday, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and 5-10 p.m. (we close at 8 p.m. on Sunday).
Normarke Farm Bed and Breakfast is Norwegian for the "woods to the north". This rustic and serene escape in the northern Black Hills is 20 minutes from the historic charm of Deadwood. Our log lodge sits on a beautiful forest acreage nestled on a small road connecting Rapid City to the rest of the Hills. We have five Scandinavian-themed rooms (with private baths), 28-foot field stone fireplace, 80-foot deck, guest kitchen, guest laundry, sauna, and family room with a Norwegian-style fireplace. The Nunpa Theatre is a two-screen movie theater located in Kyle in the heart of the Pine Ridge Reservation. First-run movies are typically shown Friday through Monday, but check our website and Facebook for the current schedule, ticket prices and which movies are playing. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door. We love our customers, so feel free to stop by during normal business hours for our amazing popcorn and other concessions.
