Wilde Prairie Winery

Wilde Prairie Winery is a family farm located just west of beautiful Splitrock Creek in southeastern South Dakota. The winery is on wonderful rolling hills perfect for growing grapes. We produce many fun wines all using South Dakota-grown fruit and honey. During the months of May through November, our winery hours are 12-6 p.m., Thursday through Monday. Other times and December through April, we offer tastings and tours by appointment. See our website for our fun summer events.

Wilder Welcome Center & Prairie Bus Tours

At the Wilder Welcome Center in downtown De Smet we want to help you make the most of your time and answer any questions you may have about De Smet and the surrounding area. We offer a bus tour that presents the history of the Laura, De Smet, and the area. Our gift shop features unique art and gifts made by local artisans and Laura-lovers. Even if you have all the information you need, aren't interested in the bus tour, and don't need to buy another souvenir, our restrooms and Wi-Fi are always available if you need them. The Wilder Welcome Center is open seven days a week in the summer and our hours are 9 a.m.-6 p.m. In September, we offer the bus tour daily at 1 p.m. (no tour on September 21, 28, 29, and 30). It lasts approximately 90 minutes to two hours. We offer private tours by appointment. For groups of seven or more, these tours can be customized and generally take about three hours.

Willa B's Bistro & Emporium

Willa B's Bistro & Emporium is an intimate, warm, welcoming gathering space in Yankton's lower Meridian District. You can meet up with friends, enjoy peace and quiet on your own, or share a meal with a loved one. You'll experience handcrafted breakfast, lunch, and dinner dishes made with fresh, local ingredients. Enjoy unique coffee creations, mouthwatering homemade sweets and more in an artistic, creative setting. While you're waiting for your meal, take a look around our emporium and discover unique and beautiful artwork from up and coming regional artists​. We are open Tuesday through Thursday and Saturday, 8 a.m.-3 p.m., and Friday, 8 a.m.-10 p.m.

Willow Springs Cabins

Willow Springs is nestled in a secluded valley, surrounded by the Black Hills National Forest. We have two private cabins: Willows Cabin and Frontier Cabin. Each comes with a private hot tub, unforgettable views with all the comforts of home. Couples can enjoy peace and serenity in nature's paradise. We are centrally-located in the Black Hills, just 20 minutes from Rapid City.

Windcross Spanish Mustang Preserve

Located near Hot Springs, the Windcross Spanish Mustang Preserve is one of the only surviving foundation Spanish Mustang herds in America. We have established and maintain a small preservation herd of these endangered horses. We offer 45-60-minute guided walking tours amongst the herd (It is a very hands-on experience). We are open to the public year-round. Winter tours are by appointment. Bus and large tour groups are welcome. Our hours are 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The Windsor Block

Located in the historic Windsor Block of dowtown Rapid City, The Windsor Block specializes in craft cocktails using high-end spirits. With an extensive whiskey selection and a growing wine program, you’ll always find something new. Our mixologists are constantly working on creating unique versions of old classics while creating new favorites to keep you coming back. With featured cocktails changing every month to our in-house, barrel-aged Old Fashioned and Manhattan cocktails, you’ll have plenty of reasons to keep coming back for more. Our hours are 3-11 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday, and 3 p.m.-12 a.m., Friday and Saturday.

Wine Cellar Restaurant

The Wine Cellar Restaurant is situated in the newly-restored 6th Street District in the heart of historic downtown Rapid City in a 100-year-old building with hardwood floors and 15-foot-high tin ceilings. We offer casual fine dining, an extensive wine and beer list, and a seasonal patio. We are open 3:30-9 p.m., Tuesday-Thursday; 3:30-11 p.m., Friday; and 5-11 p.m., Saturday. We take reservations and walk-ins are welcome.

Winner Area Chamber of Commerce

Winner is located in south central South Dakota along the Oyate Trail at the crossroads of SD Highway 44 and US Highways 18 and 183. Our open prairies and rolling hills provide an excellent habitat for a sportsman's paradise. Winner is known for top-notch pheasant hunting. Deer, turkey, prairie dogs, grouse, prairie chicken, dove, and coyotes are also hunted in the area.
