Open for breakfast and lunch, our menu changes regularly, but often features omelets and breakfast sandwiches as well as lunch sammys, soups and salads. It all started with Korczak and Ruth Ziolkowski who often had guests over for dinner at Crazy Horse Memorial. Today, you can dine in casual elegance at the Laughing Water Restaurant. You will be treated to a spectacular view of the mountain carving, while enjoying some of the area’s best cuisine. Our portions are generous and, if you join us for dinner, coffee is always on us, a tradition from the very beginning of Crazy Horse Memorial. Restaurant hours are 11 a.m.-8 p.m., seven days per week.

Attend class in the First School of De Smet that Laura and Carrie attended. Visit the home that Pa built in 1887. Have some old fashioned fun in the hands-on activity Discovery Center. We here at Laura’s Lattes in Canton hope that anyone who enters will feel welcomed. Whether the customer comes to be alone, sit with a friend, or just drive through, our aim is to please. It really becomes about meeting people and interacting with them first, with coffee coming in second. Lazy JD RV Park near Piedmont is a small, quiet, semi-rural campground (no interstate or train noise). It offers easy access to and from Interstate 90 at Exits 46, 52 and 55, between Rapid City, Black Hawk and Sturgis. There are long and level pull-thrus with full hookups, plus a tent area is available, too. Amenities include shower, laundry, picnic tables and a lawn. We offer daily and monthly rates, and are pet-friendly. The park is open April through October or November (weather dependent).
The Lazy S-Y Lodge is a four-bedroom, two-bath completely remodeled country home. There is a full kitchen and laundry facilities on-site. With the upstairs loft sleeping quarters, the lodge will accommodate 8-10 guests. There is a sauna and hot tub in attached rooms, plus a large patio and grilling equipment. We are located in the heart of pheasant country and near Lake Oahe close to excellent walleye fishing. Minimum rate is $160 per night for up to four ($30 more for each additional person).
