With more than 300 vintage cars, trucks and motorcycles, the Pioneer Auto Show & Prairie Town just off Interstate 90 in Murdo is one of the largest, privately-owned auto shows open to the public. With 42 buildings of exhibits, 60 tractors, 60 motorcycles, toys, animations and music machines, antiques, and an entire Prairie Town, there is something for everyone. Ponderosa Motor Lodge
The Ponderosa Motor Lodge is nestled in the beautiful pines of the Black Hills between the historic gold rush towns of Lead and Deadwood. During winter, it has direct access to snowmobile trails. Located 30 miles west of Sioux Falls and just south of Montrose, Porter Sculpture Park was established in 2000. It is an outdoor sculpture park that is visited by tourists from all over the world. There are more than 50 sculptures illustrating the artist's unique view. The tallest sculpture – a bull’s head – is 60 feet tall and weighs 25 tons (the second tallest is the 40-foot horse, weighing in at 40 tons). They can be seen from Interstate 90. The park is open daily, 7 a.m.-8:30 p.m., May 15 through October 15.Pagination
