This juried Indigenous art show and cultural celebration is a free annual event in the heart of downtown Rapid City at Main Street Square each July. Native POP features original artwork for sale by established and emerging Great Plains Native artists, a fashion show and a full day of cultural performances. Each year, Lennox hosts their Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration. The multi-day events includes everything from craft and food vendors in the park, a street dance with live music, a car show, a street dance, Firecracker Fun Run, a parade on July 4, as well as an outdoor band concert and fireworks display at dusk. The Pine Island Gravel Odyssey (formerly Gold Rush Gravel Grinder) will be held on a Saturday in June in and around Spearfish. There are options for 45-mile e-bike, 65-mile, 100-mile and 210-mile gravel road bicycle races/rides/tours through the Black Hills. Experience 4th of July fireworks along the Missouri River. Join us in Chamberlain for the annual Rock the Bluffs Fireworks show. The free display begins at dusk (approximately 10:20 p.m.) and lasts about an hour. The fireworks are shot off from the causeway, almost in the middle of the Missouri River (on the Interstate 90 business route), and can be seen from many areas around Chamberlain and Oacoma. During the day, Chamberlain-Oacoma's traditional 4th of July Celebration includes a Fun Run at 7:30 a.m. and parade on Main Street starting at 11 a.m. followed by lunch at the American Legion.Rockin' Ribfest

The Sioux Empire Arts & Crafts Show features only handcrafted and handmade items by the most talented artists and crafters from across the Midwest. This is the best shopping event of this nature before the holiday season. Holiday music, food trucks and fun for the whole family keep our exhibitors and shoppers coming back year after year. The show fills the entire 100,000+ square foot Expo Building located on the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds in Sioux Falls. Because of the huge space we make sure to allow for extra wide aisles.
