The South Dakota Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame is an organization dedicated to preserving the history of amateur baseball in South Dakota. The Hall of Fame building, named Salo Hall, is located in Lake Norden and houses artifacts and pictures detailing more than 100 years of the national pastime. Built in 1977, the building was a gift in memory of Joe and Hannah Salo by their daughter, Helen Mitchell. The museum is open daily 9 a.m.-7 p.m., April through October, and by appointment other times. Admission is free.Nunpa Theatre
The Nunpa Theatre is a two-screen movie theater located in Kyle in the heart of the Pine Ridge Reservation. First-run movies are typically shown Friday through Monday, but check our website and Facebook for the current schedule, ticket prices and which movies are playing. Summer hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Thursday through Saturday, and 1-4 p.m., Sunday. Off season visits are by appointment. Admission for guided tours is a minimum $5 donation.Talsma's Trail Park
Join in the fun and adventure of riding ATV trails in South Dakota along the Missouri River at Talsma's Trail Park near Avon. A working cattle ranch, Jerry and Tina Talsma opened the ATV trail park in 2005 with several hundred acres of designated trails for all to enjoy. Trails range from easy to extreme, and include climbing hills, creek crossings, scenic river bluffs, deep brush, open prairies, and river bottom terrain. There are also several play areas where riders can kick up some mud. Talsma's is a family-oriented park and offers ample off-road trails for riders of all abilities. There are rates for ATVs and dirt bikes, side-by-sides, mountain bikes, and horses. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian on the trails and is required to wear a helmet and eye protection. We are open on weekends and our summer hours are 9 a.m.-7 p.m., Saturday, and 9 a.m.-6 p.m., Sunday. Limited camping is available and reservations are required.Mosaic Wine Bar & Small Plates
