This is your chance to enjoy a memorable experience on the 1880 Train during our Wine Express. Ticket price includes food, wine, train ride, keepsake wine glass, and live entertainment (starting at 1:30 at the Hill City station). 2025 departures are Saturday, September 13, at 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. The Train departs from the Hill City station and the round-trip ride takes approximately two hours. Join us in downtown Watertown on July 4 for the annual community parade. The fun kicks off at 1:45 p.m. with a giant candy toss. At 2 p.m., the parade starts at 4th Street and East Kemp Avenue and continues west to the Watertown Stadium.
For nearly 50 years, since 1976, exhibitors have lined the pavement within Melgaard Park with their handcrafted wares on the second or third full weekend in June for Aberdeen Arts in the Park. Each year, this juried event attracts exhibitors from more than 12 states. It is estimated that more than 20,000 people go through the park during the two-day event. Arts in the Park features fine and folk art, entertainment and a wide variety of food items. Event hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is free.
