As a child, Brooke Willson was known as the “curious one” in her family. Today that curiosity takes her across the world as she searches for inspiration and connection in the outdoors.

During her first-ever trip to South Dakota, Brooke saw the sun rise over the Badlands, hiked Sunday Gulch Trail in Custer State Park, fulfilled a childhood dream of seeing Mount Rushmore, and experienced the excitement of bison traffic. That’s only some of the fun she had on her four-day SoDak experience. Check out her full adventure on the blog Fresh Air and Freedom to see why she definitely found South Dakota to be a #StateOfGreat.
